Dr. Gambacorta is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in sports medicine. His practice focuses on the management of acute and overuse injuries of the musculoskeletal system in children, adolescents, and adults. He incorporates his caring, attentive approach to patients through state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical techniques.

Currently, Dr. Gambacorta serves as Medical Director
, Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Sports Medicine
 at Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Outside the practice, he is an advocate of the STOP Sports Injuries, a national campaign to reduce sports related injuries in young athletes. He is also acting team physician for the Buffalo Junior Sabres and several WNY high schools, as well as an orthopedic consultant for Houghton College.
