Mark is a native of Western New York. He possesses two undergraduate degrees. His first degree is a B.A. from SUNY at Buffalo, graduating Cum Laude in the field of Physical Anthropology in 1997. His second degree is a B.S. from D’Youville College where he graduated Cum Laude from their Physician Assistant Program in 2000.

Mark has been working as a board certified Physician Assistant for 12 years. He works for Dr. David Pochatko and specializes in the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of the foot and ankle. Mark has been employed with Northtowns Orthopedics for over 2 years, returning from his initial employment back in 2000-2002 where he worked primarily as a first assistant in the operating room for the entire group. Additionally, Mark has 7 years of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and 1 year of training in Neurology. He has spent time working as a PA in the WNY area, but has worked in California and Florida.

Mark is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Gold Key National Honor Society. He has over 400 hours of service as a patient care volunteer in the emergency department at the Erie County Medical Center. Mark is a Past President of the D’Youville College Student Physician Assistant Association 1999.
